I'm not dead. Just brain dead.
School is eating me, and the only time I've really been drawing is during math and history, during lectures. And seriously, most of the time I'm just so brain dead I want to just lay down and sleep. But I don't because there's always something else that needs to be done. As a result, I don't sleep, and what little leisure time I have is spent doing mindless things, as I am too brain-dead to engage in any other activities. (All remaining brain power is diverted to school work, and I think I'm even running low on my backup supply. The last two in class essays I wrote were god awful. Especially the Huck Finn one.)

So that's why I'm not posting writing. Although I do have about half a "chapter" written. Just...need to find the time for the rest of it. I think I know how the story's going to pan out for a while, I just need to flesh it out.
And I couldn't be posting drawings anyway because I have no way to scan things without a USB flash drive.

And there's all this paperwork that I need to be doing... Seriously, there's a lot of paperwork I need to be doing. And my permit expires on Thursday. Ugh. I didn't want to retake the written test, but I guess that's not an option.

Somebody give me back my life please.

So anyway, that explains why I was watching Higurashi Rei on the drive back from Cambria instead of anything productive. So I finished that, and watched the episodes of Umineko no Naku Koro ni I had stored up (only 4). Man, sometimes I forget how bloody those can get, haha. Although, I don't like Umineko as much. It's more of a mystery than Higurashi, which was really a portrait of each character's slow descent into madness. Which is awesome. There's the 'mystery' thrown into Higurashi, but it's not a whodunnit like Umineko. Not that Umineko's bad. Maria's just annoying. Like Satoko was.
Sad fact: If I ever cosplay Higurashi, I'll probably do Satoko. </3 UUUUgh. Fall off a cliff, Satoko.
