I didn't read a lot of "intelligent" books when I was younger. I read a lot. Just what I read were fourth-grade level novelettes; I must've read every book in the classroom. My parents complained about my material a lot. Despite my ability to read at a college level, I was far more amused by Wayside School books to even glance at Dickens. (What'd they expect?)
